Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Chinese herbal fumigation combined with auricular acupoint pressing bean in the treatment of sleep disorder after ischemic stroke. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted and a total of 88 patients with sleep disorder after ischemic stroke hospitalized in the Department of Rehabilitative Medicine of the Second Provincial Central Hospital from February 2018 to February 2020 were selected as the research subjects. According to the different treatment methods, the patients were divided into control group (49 cases) and observation group (39 cases). The control group was treated with conventional treatment, and the observation group was treated with Chinese herbal fumigation combined with auricular point pressing bean on the basis of conventional treatment. The scores and total scores of Pittsburg sleep quality index (PSQI) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups. Results After 14 days of treatment, the sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep time, daytime function scores and PSQI total score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Chinese herbal fumigation combined with auricular point pressing bean can effectively improve sleep quality, sleep time and daytime function of patients with sleep disorder after ischemic stroke, which can provide a new plan for sleep disorder after ischemic stroke treatment.
