| Influence of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with moxibustion on quality of life in patients with chronic renal insufficiency |

Abstract Objective To study the influence of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with moxibustion on the quality of life of patients with chronic renal insufficiency. Methods A total of 100 patients with chronic renal insufficiency admitted to Wuxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to February 2021 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (50 cases) and the observation group (50 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine, and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy combined with moxibustion on the basis of the control group. The changes of renal blood flow indexes between the two groups were compared, the improvement of the quality of life of the two groups of patients was studied. Results There were no significant differences in peak systolic velocity (PSV), end diastolic velocity (EDV) and resistance index (RI) between the two groups before treatment (P＞0.05). After 2 months of treatment, the EDV level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the RI level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in PSV level between the two groups after 2 months of treatment (P＞0.05). There were no significant differences in the scores of energy, physical pain, emotional function, physiological function, physiological function, social function, emotional health and overall health between the two groups before treatment (P＞0.05). After 2 months of treatment, the scores of energy, physical pain, emotional function, physiological function, physiological function, social function, emotional health and overall health in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with moxibustion can improve renal arterial blood flow and improve the quality of life of patients. It is a promising Chinese medicine method that is worth recommending.
