Effect of Skinner program teaching intervention on sexual life quality and emotional state of patients after total hysterectomy |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Skinner program teaching intervention on the quality of sexual life and emotional state of patients after total hysterectomy.Methods A total of 96 patients who underwent total hysterectomy in Putian Medical District,the 900th Hospital of Joint Logistics Support Force from January 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into control group(n=48)and observation group(n=48)by random number table method.During hospitalization,patients in the control group received routine nursing,while patients in the observation group received Skinner program teaching intervention on the basis of the intervention in the control group.The sexual life quality,disease cognition and self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)scores of the two groups were compared before and after intervention.Results After intervention,the scores of sexual desire,orgasm,sexual satisfaction,sexual arousal,vaginal wetness and total score in observation group were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The awareness of disease-related knowledge in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).SDS and SAS scores in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Skinner program teaching intervention can significantly improve the cognitive level of postoperative sexual life quality and disease-related knowledge of patients with total hysterectomy,and significantly improve the mood of depression and anxiety.
