| Clinical effect of Dingchuan decoction in the treatmetment of chronic duration of bronchial asthma |

Abstract Objective To observe the clinical effect of Dingchuan decoction in the treatment of chronic duration of bronchial asthma.Methods A total of 120 cases of patients with chronic duration of bronchial asthma admitted to Hongdu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanchang from January 2017 to January 2018 were selected,they were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,each had 60 cases.The patients in control group were treated with conventional western medicine,and the patients in observation group were treated with Dingchuan Decoction on the basis of the control group.The treatment effects of the two groups were compared.Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.3%,higher than that in the control group which was 78.3%,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Lung function indexes including forced expiratory volume,forced vital capacity and maximum expiratory flow in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Dingchuan Decoction is used in the treatment of chronic persistent period of bronchial asthma,which can significantly improve the treatment effect of patients,improve lung function,and have fewer adverse reactions.Considering the patient's disease development and economic situation,when all conditions permit,Dingchuan Decoction can be given priority.
