Application effect of early diet management in patients with resection of polyps under colonoscopy |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of early diet management in patients with resection of polyps under colonoscopy. Methods A total of 86 patients with resection of polyps under colonoscopy in the hospital from February 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group performed early diet management intervention on this basis. The clinically related indicators, nutritional status, complications and total nursing satisfaction of patients in the two groups were observed.Results The first defecation time, first exhaust time and hospitalization time in observation group were shorter than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After the intervention, the levels of transferrin (TRF), hemoglobin (Hb) and plasma albumin (ALB) in two groups were higher than those before the intervention,and the TRF, Hb, and ALB levels of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The malnutrition inflammation score (MIS) and the total incidence of complications in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the total nursing satisfaction in observation group was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Early diet management in the intervention of patients with resection of polyps under colonoscopy can significantly improve nutritional nutritional status of patients, decrease the incidence of complications, and greatly increase nursing satisfaction of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
