ObjectiveTo explore the application value of nursing intervention with seed-embedding at otopoints and acupoint application for relieving pain after surgery for proctorectal diseases.Methods86 patients who receivedsurgical treatment for proctorectal diseases in our hospital from January 2015 to February 2017 were included in the study, and were assigned, using random number table,to the control group including 43 patients to receive conventional care,or the observation group including 43 patients to receive conventional care combined with nursing intervention with seed-embedding at otopoints and acupoint application, both for a treatment course of 7 days. The changes in pain before and after nursing care were compared between the two groups, and the two groups were compared for any differences in satisfaction with nursing care and clinical efficacy.ResultsAfter nursing care, there were improvements in VAS score in both groups, and the improvement was greater in the observation group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05);the overall satisfaction rate was higher in the observation group(95.35%)than in the control group(76.74%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05);the total effective rate was higher in the observation group(97.67%)than in the control group(81.40%)(χ2=6.081,P<0.05).ConclusionNursing intervention with seed-embedding at otopoints and acupoint application is significant for patients who have underwent surgery for proctorectal diseases,as it could effective relieve pain and improve satisfaction with nursing care, supporting its further clinical application.
