Abstract:Objective To understand the mental resilience level in senile dementia patients and analyze its influencing factors. Methods The Chinese version of Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC)and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS)were used to investigate the mental resilience and social support of 96 senile dementia patients in the cadre health outpatient and inpatient departments from January to October in 2017.Results The mental resilience score of Alzheimer′s patients was(25.30±5.757)points,which was positive correlation with the total score of social support(r=0.661,P<0.01).The course of disease,self-care ability and objective support of Alzheimer′s patients were the factors affecting the mental resilience of Alzheimer′s patients, and 49.8%of the mental resilience of Alzheimer′s patients was explained. Conclusion The mental resilience level of Alzheimer′s patients is in the middle level. The course of disease,self-care ability and objective support are the factors affecting the mental resilience of the Alzheimer′s patients. It suggests that the medical staff should carry out the targeted psychological guidance from the above aspects and encourage them to respond to the disease in a positive way so as to improve the patients′resilience and improve their quality of life.
