Abstract:Objective To explore the value of C reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT),peripheral blood white blood cell(WBC)count and prealbumin (PA)in the diagnosis of severe pneumonia. Methods A total of 45 cases of severe pneumonia patients in our hospital from February 2014 to May 2017 were selected as the detection group, then 40 cases of no severe pneumonia patients of pulmonary infection were selected as the internal control group, then 40 cases of physical examination were selected as the external control group. The changing and positive rate of the three group subject investigated CRP,PCT,WBC and PA were detected. Results The level of CRP,PCT,WBC of the detection group were higher than those of the external control group and the internal control group, the level of PA of the detection group were lower than those of the external control group and the internal control group, the level of CRP,PCT,WBC of the internal control group were higher than those of the external control group, the level of PA of the internal control group were lower than those of the external control group, the positive rate of CRP,PCT,WBC and PA in the detection group were higher than those in the internal control group and the external control group, the positive rate of CRP,PCT,WBC and PA in the internal control group were higher than those in the external control group, the difference were statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion The CRP,PCT,WBC and PA in the diagnosis of severe pneumonia have higher value, which could enhance monitor of CRP,PCT,WBC and PA in pulmonary infection patients.
