Objective To explore the clinical effect of postoperative synchronous adjuvant chemordiotherapy for breast cancer patients. Methods A total of sixty patients with breast cancer admitted to Heze Peony People's Hospital from February 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the reference group(30 cases)and the study group(30 cases). The reference group was treated with postoperative adjuvant sequential therapy, while the study group was treated with postoperative adjuvant chemoradiotherapy. The rate of distant metastasis, local recurrence rate,disease-free progression rate, duration of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, initiation time of radiotherapy, and total incidence of adverse reactions(gastrointestinal reactions, leukopenia)were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in the rate of distant metastasis, local recurrence and no disease progression in the study group compared with the reference group (P>0.05).The whole treatment time of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in the study group was shorter than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions (gastrointestinal reactions, leukopenia)in the study group was compared with that in the reference group, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).The total effective rate in the study group was higher than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Clinical use of synchronous adjuvant chemoradiotherapy for postoperative treatment of breast cancer patients can effectively shorten the whole treatment time of chemoradiotherapy and the start time of radiotherapy compared with conventional sequential therapy, and there are no significant differences in the rate of distant metastasis, local recurrence rate,disease-free progression rate and total incidence of adverse reactions. The value of simultaneous adjuvant chemoradiotherapy in postoperative treatment of breast cancer patients is further explained.
