In recent years,the problem of adolescent scoliosis in China has become increasingly serious.According to statistics,more than five million adolescents are already suffering from scoliosis.Idiopathic scoliosis,as the most common type,has a relatively high incidence.In the face of such situations,we must attach great importance to scoliosis screening and take corresponding interventions.Early detection and treatment of the disease is crucial to the recovery and quality of life of patients,such as early detection and early treatment,the recovery outcome is relatively good,can effectively slow or avoid the deterioration of the disease,and the appearance of irreversible deformities.This research systematically reviews the relevant studies and literatures,summarizes the research progress in the field of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis(AIS)screening at home and abroad,reviews the current commonly used AIS screening methods,including forward flexion test,evaluation of trunk rotation angle,anthropometric tools and imaging examination,and elaborates and analyzes the characteristics of each method.At present,the forward flexion test combined with the evaluation of the trunk rotation angle is the most commonly used screening method,which is simple,easy to perform,economical and practical.
