Objective To observe the nursing effect of modified Baxie exercises combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion on autologous arteriovenous fistula(AVF)in uremia patients. Methods A total of 80 uremic patients who underwent autologous AVF plasty in the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2020 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number method, they were divided into the control group(40 cases)and the observation group(40 cases).Patients in the control group were given routine postoperative nursing, while patients in the observation group were given modified Baxie exercise combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion on the basis of the control group. Both groups were intervened for 12 weeks. The maturity of internal fistula and the use of arteriovenous fistula were compared between the two groups. Results At 8 and 12 weeks after operation, the physical maturation rate and ultrasonic maturation rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the venous inner diameter of the observation group was longer than that of the control group, the venous skin depth was shorter than that of the control group, and the venous blood flow was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The first puncture time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the success rate of the first puncture was higher than that of the control group, and the incidence of complications within 6 months after operation was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of modified Baxie exercises combined with heat-sensitive moxibustion has a positive effect on the nursing of AVF in uremia patients, which can improve the blood flow of internal fistula, shorten the ripening time, improve the puncture success rate and reduce the incidence of complications.
