Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of lecture-based learning(LBL)combined with multi disease teaching based on WeChat platform in clinical practice of pediatric orthopedic surgery. Methods Forty pediatric orthopedic interns from the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control group (n=20)and the experimental group (n=20)by coin toss method. The control group received LBL teaching, while the experimental group received LBL+multi disease teaching based on WeChat platform. After 4 weeks of internship, the graduation assessment was carried out,and the satisfaction survey was carried out on the interns. Results The theoretical score of the control group was (83.90±2.49)points,the skill score was (87.90±2.29)points,the case score was(83.85±2.54)points,and the comprehensive score was(85.09±1.21)points.The theoretical score of the experimental group was (86.55±2.72)points,the skill score was (88.35±1.95)points,the case score was (85.85±3.12)points,and the comprehensive score was(86.88±1.97)points.The theoretical, medical and comprehensive scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in skill scores between the two groups (P>0.05).The enthusiasm and recognition of the teaching mode of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of LBL+multi disease teaching based on WeChat platform in pediatric orthopedic surgery clinical practice has achieved good results and improved the quality of clinical practice.
