Abstract:Objective To study the application effect of perioperative rapid rehabilitation surgical nursing in the clinical treatment of pediatric appendicitis. Methods A total of 76 children with appendicitis admitted to Jiujiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from August 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into a control group (38 cases) and an observation group (38 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine perioperative care, while the observation group received rapid recovery surgical care during the perioperative period. The rehabilitation indicators, total incidence of complications, and level of stress indicators between the two groups were compared. Results The recovery time of bowel sounds, anal exhaust time, first defecation time, and first bedtime activity time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),cortisol,and norepinephrine levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of perioperative rapid rehabilitation surgical nursing in children with appendicitis has achieved ideal results, which can effectively reduce the risk of related complications and have a positive effect on the physical recovery of children.
