Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of "one to one" precise teaching combined with problem-based learning (PBL)teaching method in improving the clinical operation skills of standardized training for residential physicians. Methods A total of 64 residents adopted standardized training for residential physicians (including professional master's students) in Department of General Pediatric Surgery in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from July 2020 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into experimental group (22 cases),control group 1 (20 cases)and control group 2 (22 cases)by drawing lot method. The experimental group adopted "one-to-one"precise teaching method combined with PBL teaching method, control group 1 only adopted traditional teaching method, control group 2 only adopted PBL teaching method, and the clinical operation skills test scores and random questionnaire survey results of the three groups of students were analyzed. Results There were significant differences in the scores of surgical operation assessment and total scores among the three groups (P<0.05).The scores of surgical operation assessment and total scores of experimental group were higher than those of control group 1 and control group 2,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in skill scores between control group 1 and control group 2 (P>0.05).The results of the questionnaire showed that the experimental group was better than the control group 1 in improving the self-learning ability and self-learning consciousness of standardized training for residential physicians, and the number of people in favor of this teaching method was higher than that in the control group 1,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.017).Conclusion"One to one"precise teaching combined with PBL teaching method is worth popularizing to improve the operation skills of standardized training for clinical pediatric surgery residents.
