Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of standardized nursing procedure of modified negative pressure drainage in children with giant scalp hematoma.Methods Fifty pediatric patients with giant scalp hematoma admitted to the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Jiujiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2018 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into control group and study group according to the order of admission time,with 25 cases in each group.The control group adopted the routine nursing of modified negative pressure drainage,and the study group adopted the standardized nursing of modified negative pressure drainage.The incidence of complication,rehabilitation index,nursing quality score and total nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The total complication rate and unplanned operation rate of the study group were lower than those of the control group,the time required for drainage,wound healing and hospitalization were shorter than those of control group,the score of disease mastery,risk assessment,drainage maintenance,nurse-patient communication,total nursing quality score and total nursing satisfaction rate were higher than those of control group,with statistical significances (P<0.05).Conclusion The standardized nursing procedure of modified negative pressure drainage has definite effect on the giant scalp hematoma in children,and can effectively reduce the occurrence of complications and shorten the hospital stay of children through high quality nursing.
