Abstract:Objective To investigate the spiritual needs of patients with gynecological malignant tumors and analyze the influencing factors.Methods A total of 145 gynecological malignant tumor patients admitted to Ganzhou People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects,the Chinese version of perceptive social support scale(PSSS),Chinese version of spiritual need scale (SNS) and general data questionnaire were used for investigation.Patients were divided into demand group(n=107)and control group(n=38)according to whether they had spiritual needs.The influencing factors of spiritual needs of patients with gynecological malignant tumors were analyzed by univariate analysis and logistic regression.Results The spiritual need score of 145 patients with gynecological malignant tumor was (76.94±10.85),among which 107 patients had spiritual need,accounting for 73.79%.There were no significant differences in age,marital status,number of children,place of residence,disease type,tumor stage and permanent caregiver between the demand group and control group(P>0.05).There were significant differences in cultural level,religious belief,course of disease,per capita family income and social support between the two groups(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis results indicated that the education level of college or above (β=1.138,OR=3.119,95%CI=1.098-8.864),religious belief (β=2.231,OR=10.108,95%CI=1.236-82.627),disease duration>12 months(β=1.385,OR=3.994,95%CI=1.491-10.698),family per capita income≥4 000 yuan (β=1.668,OR=5.408,95%CI=1.443-20.265) and high social support (β=1.002,OR=2.724,95%CI=1.109-6.691)were risk factors for spiritual needs in patients with gynecological malignant tumors (P<0.05).Conclusion The spiritual needs of patients with gynecological malignant tumors are at a medium to high level,which is influenced by the patients'cultural level,religious belief,disease course,family per capita income and social support.
