Objective In order to understand the oral health status and cognitive situation of middle-aged people aged 35-60 in Wenzhou City,provide reference for local health authorities to formulate medical and health policies and allocate resources for hospitals,and strive to promote the scientific development of oral health of middle-aged people.Methods In March 2023,middle-aged people aged between 35-60 in Wenzhou City were selected by sampling survey method,and a questionnaire survey was conducted from the perspectives of oral health status,daily oral habits,cognitive concepts of oral diseases and medical choices.Results A total of 300 questionnaires were issued,and 289 valid questionnaires were actually collected.Most of the respondents had oral diseases,147 people had received dental fillings,194 people were more likely to seek medical treatment in public hospitals,and only 44 people had regular oral examinations.A total of 103 people learned about oral health through oral doctors and 263 people didn't know about Pap brushing.Conclusion The survey population has poor oral health,lack of understanding of oral knowledge,and still have many bad oral health habits.The allocation of relevant medical resources need to be improved urgently,and the intensity of oral health publicity and education need to be strengthened.
