Objective To investigate the correlation between T helper-17 (Th-17 cells),interleukin-17 (IL-17),interleukin-35(IL-35)and atopic dermatitis. Methods Eighty children with atopic dermatitis who were admitted to Dermatology Hospital of Jiangxi Province from September 2021 to December 2022 were selected as research objects and set as the observation group.According to the scoring atopic dermatitis index, they were divided into severe, moderate, and mild three subgroups.Meanwhile,80 healthy children were selected as the control group. The levels of Th-17,IL-17 and IL-35 in the observation group and the control group were measured. The levels of Th-17,IL-17 and IL-35 in children with different severity of dermatitis were compared.Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic analysis were conducted to identify the independent factors affecting the condition of atopic dermatitis.Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to evaluate the correlation between the three indicators and the condition. Results The levels of Th-17 and IL-17 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the level of IL-35 was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Univariate analysis showed that there were no statistically significant differences in gender, age,or length of hospital stay among the mild dermatitis group, the moderate dermatitis group, and the severe dermatitis group (P>0.05),while there were statistically significant differences in the levels of Th-17,IL-17 and IL-35 among the three groups (P<0.05).Multivariate logistic analysis showed that the levels of Th-17,IL-17,and IL-35 were independent influencing factors of atopic dermatitis (β=1.157,2.143,1.793;OR=3.180,8.525,6.007;95% CI=1.166-8.676,1.157-62.818,1.064-33.909;P<0.05).The severity of atopic dermatitis was positively correlated with the levels of Th-17 and IL-17,and negatively correlated with the level of IL-35 (r=0.404,0.402,-0.405;P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of Th-17,IL-17,and IL-35 are independent influencing factors affecting the severity of atopic dermatitis.Besides, there is certain correlation between the three indicators and the severity of atopic dermatitis. If Th-17 and IL-17 level decrease or IL-35 level increases,it is necessary to take targeted intervention measures to prevent decrease in immune function and disease progression.
