Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of pain nursing on congenital dislocation of hip (CDH). Methods A total of 40 children treated with CDH surgery in Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group (20 cases) and observation group (20 cases) according to random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given pain nursing combined with psychological nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The pain, lower limb motor function and sleep quality of the children in the two groups were compared. Results On the second day after surgery, there were no statistical significant differences in the children's hospital of Eastern Ontario pain scale (CHEOPS) score and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) (P>0.05). The CHEOPS scores and PSQI of the two groups on the 8th and 15th day after surgery were lower than those on the 2nd day after surgery, and the CHEOPS scores and PSQI of the two groups on the 15th day after surgery were lower than those on the 8th day after surgery, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The CHEOPS scores and PSQI of the observation group on the 8th and 15th day after surgery were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). On the second day after surgery, there was no significant difference in the scores of the Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment (FMA) between the two groups (P>0.05). The FMA scores on the 8th and 15th day after surgery were higher than those on the 2nd day after surgery, and the FMA scores on the 15th day after surgery were higher than those on the 8th day after surgery, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The FMA scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group at the 8th and 15th day after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Pain nursing combined with psychological nursing can effectively improve the lower limb motor function of children with CDH surgery, reduce pain and improve sleep quality.
