Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of WeChat-assisted case-based learning (CBL) teaching method in the clinical practice teaching of cerebrovascular disease. Methods A total of 80 interns practiced in the Department of Neurology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University between September and December 2022 were selected as study objects, and they were divided into the observation group and the control group by random number table method, with 40 students in each group. The observation group adopted the WeChat-assisted CBL teaching method, while the control group adopted the traditional teaching method. The theoretical knowledge scores, practical ability scores and comprehensive quality scores of the two groups of students were assessed. Results The theoretical knowledge scores, practical ability scores and comprehensive quality scores of interns in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In addition, teaching satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The WeChat-assisted CBL teaching method has a good application effectiveness in the clinical practice teaching of cerebrovascular diseases in the department of neurology, and this method is worth popularizing and applying in the clinical practice teaching of neurology department.
