Objective The Java PK for Desktop (JKPD)was used to predict the application of Teicoplanin in the Chinese population by using a one-room model, and to verify the clinical effect. Methods A total of 16 patients treated with Teicoplanin at various infection sites from December 2021 to December 2022 in Xiangtan Central Hospital were selected as research objects, based on the Teicoplanin pharmacokinetic model, the Teicoplanin pharmacokinetic model was defined in the JPKD customized module, and the pharmacokinetic parameters of Teicoplanin were estimated by the Baysian method.Hospitalized patients with gram-positive bacteria who received Teicoplanin in Xiangtan Central Hospital were collected, and those who received continuous renal replacement therapy were excluded. The dose of Teicoplanin in patients, relative demographic information and steady-state blood concentration measured for the first time were entered into JPKD.The Baysian method was used to estimate the individual pharmacokinetic parameters of patients.Based on pharmacokinetic parameters and the proposed adjustment of Teicoplanin administration schedule, blood concentration data for Teicoplanin after adjustment of prescription records was predicted. The deviation between the predicted concentration and the measured concentration was calculated, and its prediction ability was investigated. Results The actual steady-state valley concentration was(17.35±11.05)mg/L using Teicoplanin and(19.36±11.81)mg/L predicted by JPKD,with a deviation of(14.73±19.81)%.Conclusion The use of JPKD by a one-room model has good predictive ability for the blood concentration of Teicoplanin in the Chinese population. It is of great significance for individual clinical use of Teicoplanin and helpful for rational clinical use of Teicoplanin.
