Abstract：Objective To translate Bristol chronic obstructive pulmonary disease knowledge questionnaire (BCKQ) into Chinese,and to test its reliability and validity.Methods The Chinese version of BCKQ was formed after translation and cross-cultural debugging.A total of 328 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)who were admitted to the Department of Respiratory Critical Care Medicine and the Chronic Disease Management Center of Guangdong Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from May 2021 to August 2021 were selected for survey to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version BCKQ.Results The correlation coefficient between the score of each item of the Chinese version BCKQ and the total score of the questionnaire were 0.132-0.511,Cronbach's α was 0.920,the half-reliability was 0.808,and the retest reliability was 0.924.After evaluation by 12 experts,the total content validity index of the Chinese version BCKQ was 0.833,and the content validity index of each item were 0.833-1.000.Conclusion The Chinese version of BCKQ has good reliability and validity,and can be used to evaluate the cognitive status of patients with COPD.
