Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of Metabolic Management Center (MMC)target management in the nursing of patients with diabetes complicated with stroke. Methods A total of 80 patients with stroke complicated with type 2 diabetes admitted to Yichun People's Hospital of Jiangxi Province from January 2019 to August 2021 were selected as research objects.According to the sealed envelope lottery method, they were divided into control group (40 cases) and observation group (40 cases). The control group received routine nursing intervention of blood glucose. On the basis of the control group, the blood glucose target management was implemented in the observation group using the supporting facilities of MMC.Fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, body mass index (BMI),self-management behavior score and activity of daily living (ADL) score were compared between the two groups before intervention and 6 months after intervention. Results There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin level,BMI,waist circumference and abdominal circumference (P >0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin level and BMI of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, and the waist circumference and abdominal circumference of the two groups were shorter than those before the intervention, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the BMI of the patients in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the waist circumference and abdominal circumference of the patients in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the scores of summary of diabetes self-care activities (SDSCA)and activity of daily living (ADL)between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the SDSCA and ADL scores of the two groups were higher than those of the group before intervention, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the SDSCA and ADL scores of patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion The application of MMC objective management in the nursing of patients with diabetes complicated with stroke can effectively control blood glucose, reduce body weight, improve patients'self-care ability and quality of life, which is worth promoting.
