Abstract：Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Li's bian stone scraping in the treatment of acute eczema.Methods A total of 77 patients with acute eczema admitted to Shenzhen Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from June 2019 to June 2021 were recruited as subjects and divided into the observation group (n=38)and control group (n=39)by computer random number table method.In the observation group,Li's bian stone scraping was delivered,and in the control group,oral intake of Loratadine Tablets and topical use of Triamcinolone Acetonide Econazole Cream were given.Both groups were treated for 3 weeks.The eczema area and severity index (EASI)score and serum levels of interleukin-5(IL-5),IL-4,interferon-γ(IFN-γ)and IL-2 before and after treatment were compared between two groups.Clinical efficacy was assessed between two groups.The incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate were compared between two groups.Results There were no significant differences in EASI score,serum levels of IL-5,IL-4,IFN-γ and IL-2 between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).The EASI scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the EASI score of the observation group after treatment was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The serum levels of IL-5 and IL-4 in the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the serum levels of IL-5 and IL-4 in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The serum levels of IFN-γ and IL-2 in the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment,and the serum levels of IFN-γ and IL-2 in the observation group after treatment were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of observation grou p was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).During the treatment,the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).One month after the end of treatment,the recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜0.05).Conclusion Li's bian stone scraping can effectively regulate the cytokine disorder and mitigate relevant symptoms.It yields high clinical efficacy,slight adverse reactions and low recurrence rate,which is worthy of application in clinical practice.
