Abstract:Objective The quality standard of Xiongbing Dropping Pills was determined by identifying the thin layer and determining the content of active ingredients.Methods Thin layer chromatography was used to identify Chuanxiong and Borneol in Xiongbing Dropping Pills by comparing medicinal herbs solution,test solution and negative sample solution.The chromatographic conditions were designed as follows,the chromatographic column was Platisil ODS(5 μm,250 mm×4.6 mm),the mobile phase was methanol-0.1%phosphoric acid solution(50∶50),the detection wavelength was 323 nm,the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min,the column temperature was 35℃,and the injection volume was 10 μl.The linear range,precision,specificity,reproducibility and RSD were investigated.The ferulic acid components in the preparation were identified by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC),and the proportion of components was determined.Results Chuanxiong and Borneol in Xiongbing Dripping Pills could be identified by comparison in Thin layer chromatography.The linear range of ferulic acid was 2.12-106.00 μg/ml.The regression equation was A=0.824 9C+0.581 8,r=0.999 9.The method had good specificity,precision and reproducibility.The RSD was 98.72%.Conclusion The thin layer chromatography method established in this study is simple,specific and reproducible,which can be used as the quality control standard for Xiongbing Dropping Pills.
