Clinical value of rectal ultrasound-guided "6+X" system puncture combined with shear wave elastography abnormal area in the detection of abnormal areas of prostate cancer

Abstract:Objective To study the clinical significance of rectal ultrasound-guided "6+X" system puncture combined with shear wave elastography (SWE)abnormal area in improving the detection rate of prostate cancer.Methods A total of 228 patients with suspected prostate cancer treated in Xinyu People's Hospital from January 2017 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects.The examiners underwent rectal ultrasound-guided "6+X" system puncture examination and rectal ultrasound-guided "6+X" system puncture combined with SWE abnormal area examination.The pathological results of needle biopsy were taken as the gold standard to evaluate the diagnostic results of the two methods.Results The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and diagnostic accuracy of rectal ultrasound-guided "6+X" system combined with SWE abnormal area examination in prostate cancer were all higher than those of the single examination of rectal ultrasound-guided"6+X"system puncture.Conclusion In patients with suspected prostate cancer,rectal ultrasound-guided"6+X"system combined with biopsy puncture through the abnormal area of SWE can effectively examine the pathological tissue of the prostate site,improve the disease detection rate,and reduce the occurrence of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.
