Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Butylphthalide Soft Capsule combined with Citicoline Sodium in the treatment of senile vascular dementia (VD) and its effects on serum cystatin (CysC),γ interferon (IFN-γ),homocysteine(Hcy))level effect.Methods A total of 102 elderly patients with VD admitted to Liaoning Jinqiu Hospital from August 2017 to February 2021 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into study group (51 cases)and control group(51 cases)by random number table method.The control group was treated with Citicoline Sodium,and the study group was treated with Butylphthalide Soft Capsule on the basis of the control group.The treatment time was 3 months.The total effective rate of treatment,simple mental state examination(MMSE)scale score,daily activity index(BI),CysC,IFN-γ and Hcy levels were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in MMSE score and BI index between the two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the MMSE score and BI index of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the MMSE score and BI index of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the levels of CysC,IFN-γ and Hcy between the two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of CysC,IFN-γ and Hcy in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the levels of CysC,IFN-γ and Hcy in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of patients with senile vascular dementia,the combined drug regimen of Butylphthalide Soft Capsule combined with Citicoline Sodium can effectively reduce the level of related pathological indicators in patients,further improve their daily living ability,and the therapeutic effect and safety are good.It has significant clinical value and is worthy of promotion.
