Objective To analyze the application effect of multidisciplinary treatment centered on endocrinology department in patients with diabetic foot. Methods A total of 100 patients with diabetic foot admitted to the Department of Endocrinology,Ganzhou People's Hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine hypoglycemia and dressing change management, while the experimental group was treated with multidisciplinary treatment project management of diabetic foot centered on endocrinology department. The rate of diabetic foot amputation, length of hospital stay, hospitalization cost and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results The amputation rate of experimental group was lower than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The hospitalization days of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group, and the hospitalization expenses were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Multidisciplinary treatment of diabetic foot with endocrinology as the center can effectively reduce amputation rate, shorten hospitalization time, reduce hospitalization cost and improve patient satisfaction.
