Objective To investigate the clinical effect of transvaginal sacrospinous ligamentopexy in the treatment of uterine prolapse. Methods The clinical data of 140 patients with uterine prolapse admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Jingzhou City from June 2019 to June 2021 were retrospectively selected as research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the operation method, with 70 cases in each group. The control group received pelvic floor reconstruction, and the observation group received transvaginal sacrospinous ligamentopexy. The treatment effect, surgical indicators (operation time, intraoperative blood loss, average hospital stay, and spontaneous urination time) and quality of life scores (pelvic floor distress inventory short form 20 [PFDI-20],pelvic floor impact questionnaire 7[PFIQ-7])were compared between the two groups. All patients were followed up for 3 months, and compared the complications and recurrence between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The operation time, average hospital stay and spontaneous urination time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss between the two groups (P>0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in PFDI-20 and PFIQ-7 scores between the two groups (P>0.05).After treatment, the scores of PFDI-20 and PFIQ-7 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After 3 months of follow-up,there were no significant differences in the incidence of complications and recurrence rate between the two groups (P >0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal sacrospinous ligamentopexy in the treatment of patients with uterine prolapse can play a definite curative effect, shorten the time of operation, hospitalization and spontaneous urination, improve the quality of life, and has a good long-term effect, which is worthy of clinical reference.
