Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship between health literacy and self-efficacy in patients with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) after interventional therapy. Methods A total of 108 patients with STEMI who received interventional therapy in People's Hospital of Guangxin District of Shangrao from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects. The self-efficacy scores of patients were evaluated by general self-efficacy scale(GSES) scale. They were divided into low self-efficacy group (GSES<24,15 cases),medium self-efficacy group (24≤GSES<32,55 cases)and high self-efficacy group (GSES≥32,38 cases). The health literacy management scale(HeLMS)scores of the three groups were compared, the correlation analysis method was used to analyze the correlation between health literacy and self-efficacy.Results The total score of health literacy in high self-efficacy group was higher than that in medium self-efficacy group and low self-efficacy group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total score of health literacy in the middle self-efficacy group was higher than that in the low self-efficacy group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).All dimensions of health literacy of patients with myocardial infarction were positively correlated with self-efficacy (P<0.05).Conclusion There is a positive relationship between health literacy and self-efficacy in patients with STEMI after interventional therapy.
