Objective To observe the clinical effect of Ma′s warm moxibustion combined with acupuncture in the treatment of migraine with cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome. Methods A total of 48 patients with migraine with cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome in Beijing Mentougou Hospital of TCM from January to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 24 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with acupuncture combined with conventional moxa stick moxibustion, while patients in the observation group were treated with acupuncture combined with Ma′s warm moxibustion. The visual analogue scale(VAS)score and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The VAS score of the observation group after treatment was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Ma′s warm moxibustion combined with acupuncture in the treatment of migraine with cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome could reduce the VAS score of patients, and got high clinical efficacy, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
