Abstract：Objective To discuss application effect of optimized admission process in nursing of patients with acute myocardial infarction.Methods A total of 178 patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) admitted to the Department of Cardiology,Jiangmen People's Hospital were enrolled in this study.A total of 108 patients admitted from July 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the control group,and routine admission processing process was implemented.A total of 70 patients admitted from July 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the observation group,and the optimized admission processing process was implemented.The time from the first medical contact to the completion of the first electrocardiogram,the time from the completion of the first electrocardiogram to the diagnosis,the time of door to wire passage (D-to-W) of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI),and the satisfaction of patients with nursing work were compared between the two groups.Results The time from the first medical contact to the completion of the first ECG,the time from the completion of the first electrocardiogram to the diagnosis,and the D-to-W time of PCI in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Optimized flow of admission is beneficial for STEMI patients to obtain the most efficient care at the optimal timing while improving the quality of medical care of STEMI patients.
