Abstract:Objective By means of eye examination and questionnaire survey,the demographic characteristics,diseases causing visual impairment and quality of life of patients with visual impairment were investigated.Methods A total of 263 patients with visual impairment diagnosed and treated at Linyi Centre for Rehabilitation of Persons With Disabilities from May 2014 to October 2020 were selected as research objects,check the naked eye vision,the best corrected vision,slit lamp examination,fundus examination,optometry and so on,to make clear the cause of the disorder,and to fill in the general condition questionnaire and the Chinese version of low vision quality of life scale,demographic characteristics,epidemiological characteristics and quality of life were statistically analyzed.Results The main causes of the disease were congenital genetic abnormality or developmental disorder,eye injury,cataract and so on.There were significant differences in the visual impairment grades among different age groups (H=46.022,P<0.05).There were significant differences in the quality of life among different grades of patients with visual impairment (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of clinical rehabilitation and quality of life assessment is helpful to establish individualized rehabilitation program and improve quality of life in new medical model.
