Abstract:Breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer is an important surgical method for breast cancer treatment,but conventional breast-conserving surgery is limited by various factors and has great limitations.On the basis of conventional breast-conserving surgery,lateral chest wall perforator flaps are used for local reconstruction improves its limitations and improves milk conservation.In view of the current situation of breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer,this paper analyzes and organizes domestic and foreign literatures,and believes that breast-conserving surgery with lateral chest wall perforator flap is safe,reliable,and has a good surgical effect.This article reviews the application of the lateral chest wall perforator flap in breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer by the development of the lateral chest wall perforator flap,the indications and contraindications of surgery,the anatomy,advantages and disadvantages of the lateral chest wall perforator flap,surgical methods,surgical complications and perioperative care,aiming to increase the understanding of the application of contralateral chest wall perforator flaps in clinical breast cancer surgery.
