Abstract: Objective To investigate and analyze the effect of CT examination in the differentiation of serous and mucinous tumors in ovarian borderline tumor (BOT).Methods From July 2018 to July 2019,37 patients with ovarian serous borderline tumor and 40 patients with ovarian mucinous borderline tumor treated in Anshan Central Hospital,were selected as study subjects.They were selected as the serous BOT group and the mucinous BOT group,respectively.CT examination was performed in both groups.CT morphological and imaging features were compared between the two groups.Results The number of sac compartmentalization in the mucinous BOT group was higher than that in the serous BOT group,the proportion of sac diameter ≥10 cm in the mucinous BOT group was larger than that in the serous BOT group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The clear tumor boundary rate in the mucinous BOT group was higher than that in the serous BOT group,nevertheless,the homogeneous ratio of bag fluid density in the mucinous BOT group was lower than that in the serous BOT group,and the proportion of solid components in the mucinous BOT group was also lower than that in the serous BOT group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).In soft tissue form,the soft tissue morphology in the mucinous BOT group was mainly cystic wall and septal thickening,while the soft tissue in the serous BOT group was mainly distributed in map shape,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The imaging features of serous and mucinous tumors in ovarian borderline tumors differ greatly during CT examination,CT examination can provide important reference for their differentiation.
