Abstract: Objective To investigate the influence of glasses on the development and change of children′s low myopia. Methods A total of 300 children with low myopia admitted to Yichun People′s Hospital from March 2018 to March 2019 were selected as the research objects, and the children were divided into a control group (150 cases) and an observation group (150 cases) according to the wishes of the children and their families. The control group did not undergo correction treatment and did not wear frame glasses;the observation group underwent full correction treatment according to the doctor′s instructions, and continued to wear frame glasses. The children of two groups used a comprehensive refractometer to perform refractive status and binocular visual function examination during the investigation. The abnormal rate of visual function and the rate of visual fatigue, curative effect, adjustment range, and flexibility of binocular adjustment were compared between the two groups. Results The rates of abnormal visual function and visual fatigue in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the adjustment range and binocular accommodation flexibility of the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the effective rate of treatment of children in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with those who do not wear glasses, wearing glasses for correction can better adjust the patients′ visual function. For patients with low myopia, wearing glasses for correction is recommended.
