Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Deming ring model in the nursing of children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura. Methods A total of 200 children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura treated in the Department of Pediatrics of Maternal and Child Health Hospital from July 2019 to July 2021 were selected as the research object. They were divided into observation group (n=100) and control group (n=100) by random number table method. Plan-Do-Check-Action(PDCA) circulation mode was used in the observation group, and basic nursing was used in the control group. The scores of anxiety, behavior and survival time of the two groups were compared. Results The family members in the observation group was higher understanding of disease knowledge than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in family management score between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05). The score of family management in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of compliance behaviors in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in anxiety scores between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After the intervention, the anxiety scores of family members in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The regression time of rash in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of PDCA model in dietary nursing of children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura can improve the effect of family management and reduce the recurrence rate of the disease.
