Application effect of Ethinylestradiol Cyproterone Tablets combined with Insulin Sensitizer on ovulation induction in polycystic ovary syndrome

Abstract：Objective To explore the ovulation induction after the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome with Eynestradiol Cyproterone Tablets combined with Insulin Sensitizer. Methods A total of 100 cases of polycystic ovary syndrome patients admitted to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Beijing Normal University Hospital from December 2018 to December 2019 were selected as research objects, according to random number table method, they were divided into control group (received Ethinylestradiol Cyproterone Tablets therapy) and study group (combined with Insulin Sensitizer on the basis of control group), with 50 cases in each group. Body mass index (BMI), waist-hip ratio(WHR), body weight, endometrial development, incidence of dominant follicles, incidence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results Before treatment, there were no significant differences in BMI, WHR and body weight between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the BMI, WHR and body weight of two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the BMI, WHR and body weight in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The endometrial development, incidence of dominant follicles and pregnancy rate in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the incidence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome, the combination of Eynestradiol Cyproterone Tablets and Insulin Sensitizer can adjust the patients′ menstrual cycle, improve endocrine and metabolic disorders, the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
