Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of low-frequency pulsed electric therapy combined with breast acupoint massage in postpartum lactation and breast pain. Methods From January 2019 to June 2021, 120 pregnant women with singleton pregnancy who were diagnosed and treated in Jingdezhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the research group (60 cases) and the comparison group (60 cases) by random drawing. The patients in the research group were treated with breast acupoint massage combined with low-frequency pulsed electricity for lactation, while the patients in the comparison group were treated with conventional massage for lactation. The breast tenderness score, lactation effect and serum sex hormone levels were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of lactation after treatment in the research group was higher than that in the comparison group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of breast pain after 2, 3 and 4 days of delivery in the research group were lower than those in the comparison group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The serum prolactin level in the research group was higher than that in the comparison group at 3 days after delivery, while the estradiol level was lower than that in the comparison group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Breast acupoint massage combined with low-frequency pulsed electricity can effectively promote postpartum lactation, relieve breast tenderness and pain, and improve maternal serum prolactin and estradiol levels.
