Application value of quality control circle management in reducing the rate of intravenous infusion in pediatric patients

Abstract：Objective To observe and analyze the application value of quality control circle management in reducing the rate of intravenous fluid exudation in pediatric patients. Methods A total of 1208 infusion children who were admitted to Hengyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from May to September 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (604 cases) and the experimental group (604 cases) by random drawing. The children in the control group were treated with conventional nursing method, while the patients in the experimental group were treated with the quality control circle management method. The rate of infusion exudation, the nursing satisfaction of parents and the evaluation of parents on nursing quality were compared between the two groups. Results The infusion exudation rate of the experimental group after nursing intervention was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). After nursing intervention, the satisfaction scores of parents in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group in terms of work quality, health education, risk awareness and service attitude, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion Quality control circle activities can effectively reduce the exudation rate of intravenous infusion in children, improve parental satisfaction, improve the quality of hospital care, and have better application effects.
