Effect of circular nursing mode on treatment compliance and quality of life in patients undergoing breast cancer surgery after intravenous infusion port chemotherapy

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of circular nursing mode on the compliance and quality of life of patients after breast cancer surgery. Methods A total of 120 patients with breast cancer who were treated with totally implantable venous access port in Jiangxi Cancer Hospital from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into control group (60 cases) and observation group (60 cases) using the random number table method. The control group was given traditional nursing methods, and the observation group was given circular nursing management mode. The treatment compliance, quality of life score, sleep quality score, health knowledge and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the score of quality of life between the two groups before nursing (P＞0.05). The score of quality of life in the observation group after nursing was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The treatment compliance, health knowledge mastery and nursing satisfaction in the observation group after nursing were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in sleep quality scores between the two groups before nursing (P＞0.05). The sleep quality score of the two groups after nursing was lower than that before nursing, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The sleep quality score of the observation group after nursing was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion The application of circular nursing mode in patients undergoing breast cancer surgery after intravenous infusion port chemotherapy has better application effect in improving patients' compliance and improving their quality of life.
