Abstract：Objective To explore one case of skin anaphylaxis induced by Xuesaitong Injection (lyophilized) and provide safe references for clinical prescriptions. Methods The possible causes of severe fixed erythema induced by Xuesaitong Injection (lyophilized) and treatment protocols were studied and summarized by analyzing the medical records of a patient in October 2019. Results A 73-year-old female patient with coronary arteriosclerosis received an intravenous Xuesaitong Injection (lyophilized), 400 mg once a day. On the first day after admission, after five minutes, the patient developed skin rash with pruritus on both lower limbs, over the next few days the skin rash gradually increased and the pruritus aggravated. Some skin rashes were macular, with blisters in the center, accompanied by burning pain. The fixed annular drug eruption was considered. Xuesaitong Injection (lyophilized) was discontinued right away, and intravenous infusion of Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate, oral Methylprednisolone Tablets and other medicine was given sequentially as anti-allergy therapy and symptomatic support treatment. The symptoms on the patient's skin were relieved gradually. Conclusion Xuesaitong Injection (lyophilized) may cause severe drug eruption when it is used for the first time. Clinicians should be alert to closely observe, early identify the adverse drug reactions caused by Xuesaitong Injection (lyophilized), to discontinue suspected medicine in time and actively deal with it.
