Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Methimazole combined with131I on thyroid artery and hepatic artery blood flow in patients with hyperthyroidism. Methods A total of 90 patients with hyperthyroidism admitted to Dalian Second People's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group and research group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was given Methimazole treatment, and the research group was given131I treatment on the basis of the control group. The hemodynamics indexes of thyroid artery and hepatic artery were compared between two groups before and after treatment, including mean flow rate (Vm), end diastolic flow rate (Vmin), peak systolic flow rate (Vmax), resistance index (RI) and pulsatile index (PI). Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in thyroid and hepatic arterial hemodynamics indexes between two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the thyroid artery Vm, Vminand Vmaxin the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in thyroid artery RI and PI between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, Vm, Vminand Vmaxof hepatic artery in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in hepatic artery RI and PI between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Compared with oral Methimazole alone, oral Methimazole and131I can improve the blood flow of thyroid artery and hepatic artery in hyperthyroidism patients, which is worthy of promotion.
