Application effect of targeted psychological intervention nursing in female patients after pacemaker operation

Abstract:Objective Through analyzing the factors of patients′ psychological disorders, giving targeted psychological intervention nursing, to understand its application effect on female patients with pacemaker. Methods A total of 100 female patients with permanent pacemaker implanted in the Department of Cardiology of Jiangxi Provincial People′s Hospital from March 2020 to March 2021 were selected as research objects, they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing (disease knowledge guidance, pacemaker postoperative rehabilitation guidance, etc.), the observation group received targeted psychological intervention nursing on the basis of routine nursing. Self-rating depression scale (SDS), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and short form-36 health survey (SF-36) were used to evaluate and compare the conditions of patients in the two groups before surgery, 1 week, 1 and 3 months after surgery. Results At 1 week, 1 and 3 months after surgery, SAS scores and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, SF-36 scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Through analyzing the causes of psychological disorders in female patients with pacemaker and giving them targeted psychological intervention nursing can improve the psychological counseling effect of patients, shorten the time for patients to return to society,and improve their long-term quality of life.
