Abstract：Objective To explore the application effects of continuous quality improvement model based on continuous find organize clarify understand Find-Organize-Clarify-Understand-Select-Plan-Do-Check-Action (FOCUS-PDCA) in the children′s physical examination triage. Methods A total of 1000 children checked from February 2020 to February 2021 in Jiangmen Maternity and Child Health Hospital were selected as research subjects. According to random number table, they were divided into study group and control group, with 500 cases in each group. The study group took FOCUS-PDCA-dominated continuous quality improvement modes, the control group took the routine modes. The clincial satisfaction, waiting time for physical examination time, health knowledge awareness rate were compared between two groups. Results The clinical satisfaction in the study group was higher than control group, with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). The health knowledge awareness rate in the study group was higher than control group, with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). The physical examination time and awaiting time in the study group were shorter than control group, with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). Conclusion FOCUS-PDCA-dominated continuous quality improvement mode can improve the children′s health knowledge mastery degrees, shorten the physical examination time and increase the clinical satisfaction. It is worthy of application and promotion.
