Abstract:Objective To study the diagnostic value of serum ferritin (SF), glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT), adenosine deaminase (ADA) and 5′-nucleotidase (5′-NT) in the diagnosis of liver cancer. Methods A total of 200 patients with liver cancer treated in Xinjiang Medical University Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the liver cancer group, and 195 patients with benign liver tumors during the same period were selected as the benign group. The levels of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT were measured and compared between the two groups. The pathological diagnosis results were used as the gold standard to calculate the consistency, sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT in single and combined diagnosis of liver cancer. Results The levels of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT in liver cancer group were higher than those in benign group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Taking pathological diagnosis results as the gold standard, the consistency between SF+GGT+ADA+5′-NT and pathological results was better than that of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT. The sensitivity and accuracy of SF+GGT+ADA+5′-NT combined diagnosis were higher than those of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT alone, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.005). There was no statistically significant difference in the specificity of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (P>0.005). There were no statistically significant differences in the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT (P>0.005). Conclusion The serum levels of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT in patients with liver cancer are increased, and the combined detection of SF, GGT, ADA and 5′-NT can improve the diagnostic sensitivity of liver cancer, and the diagnostic efficiency is high.
