Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Changhai pain rating scale recording pain diary on cancer pain assessment.Methods A total of 111 patients with cancer pain admitted to Nanchang First Hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were selected as research objects,they were divided into study group (n=56) and control group (n=55) according to the odd and admission numbers.Patients in the control group were evaluated for cancer pain using the Changhai pain rating scale,while patients in the study group recorded pain diary according to the Changhai pain rating scale score.The effect of cancer pain control was compared between the two groups,and the treatment compliance and pain control satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The pain score of the study group was lower than that of the control group at 2,6,12 and 24 h after treatment,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The treatment compliance rate of the study group was 94.64% after recording the pain diary according to Changhai pain rating scale score,which was higher than 80.00% of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The satisfaction of pain control in the study group was 96.43%,which was higher than 81.82% of control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Using record pain diary according to Changhai pain rating scale score can timely provide patients with accurate pain information for correct evaluation,and give suggestions on the feasibility of clinical treatment intervention,which can effectively improve patients′ treatment compliance,better control of cancer pain,and get higher satisfaction with pain control.
