Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of Pantoprazole on gastrointestinal bleeding in patients with acute stroke. Methods A total of 300 cases of acute stroke patients with gastrointestinal hemorrhage admitted to Ba′nan District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chongqing from January to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method, with 150 cases in each group.Patients in control group were treated with comprehensive drug therapy, and patients in experimental group were treated with Pantoprazole.National Institute of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) score before and after treatment, gastrointestinal bleeding rate, mortality after 1 month of treatment and total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment,NIHSS scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and NIHSS score of experimental group was lower than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The gastrointestinal bleeding rate and mortality after 1 month of treatment in experimental group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Pantoprazole can improve the condition and prognosis of patients with acute stroke and gastrointestinal bleeding, improve the survival rate, and has high safety. It is worth popularizing.
