Objective To evaluate the effect of hysteroplasty on reducing the formation of lower uterine diverticulum after cesarean section with scarred uterus. Methods From January to June 2020, a total of 60 pregnant women with scarred uterus who were admitted to the obstetrics department of Sanshui District Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Foshan City in Guangdong Province were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the control group (30 cases) and the observation group (30 cases) according to the patients' wishes. The control group underwent a second cesarean section, and the observation group underwent a second cesarean section combined with hysteroplasty. The two groups of women were followed up by clinical and vaginal color Doppler ultrasound, and the incidence of lower uterine segment diverticulum, severity, and quality of life before and after treatment of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The incidence of lower uterine segment diverticulum in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the above differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no difference in the quality of life scores between the two groups before surgery, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).And after surgery, the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before surgery, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of hysteroplasty can significantly reduce the formation of diverticulum in the lower uterine segment of patients with scarred uterus after cesarean section, and has a significant effect in improving the severity of uterine diverticulum.
