Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of intelligent dispensing robot in clinical intravenous infusion dispensing. Methods A total of 86 nurses performed intravenous infusion dispensing in Peking University Shenzhen Hospital from March to June 2021 were selected and divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the random number table method, with 43 nurses in each group. The control group used conventional artificial drug configuration, while the experimental group used intelligent dispensing robot for drug configuration. The dispensing time, drug residue, dispensing error rate, drug leakage rate, and health injury incident rate were compared between the two groups. Results The dispensing time of the experimental group was longer than that of the control group, and the drug residue of the experimental group was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The dispensing error rate and drug leakage rate in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence rates of fatigue, ampule bottle scratch, finger chaps and syringe puncture in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion In clinical intravenous infusion dispensing, the use of intelligent dispensing robots by nurses can effectively ensure the safety and accuracy of patients′ medication, avoid dispensing errors, and reduce the risk of occupational injury for clinical nurses, which is worthy of popularization and application.
